FAQ
A little dry brushing after each brew goes a long way.
Keep the burrs and adjustment mechanism dry. Empty the catch cup and use a clean, dry brush on loose grounds. Wipe the exterior with a barely damp cloth, then dry it immediately. Do not rinse, soak, immerse, or put the grinder in a dishwasher. Only wash a removable part if the supplied manual expressly allows it.
Use the supplied manual for the disassembly sequence. Note your dial setting and keep small parts in order; alignment and the adjustment reference can change after reassembly. Accessible-surface brushing is enough for a routine clean. Do not add oil, solvents, or rice as a cleaning method.
Stop turning and do not force it. Empty loose beans if the manual permits, then inspect according to its instructions. Keep fingers and tools clear of the burr path. Never use a drill or powered adapter to work through a blockage.
Use roasted coffee beans only. Spices, nuts, and unroasted beans can leave oils, clog the mechanism, or damage it. Grind by hand and clean out old grounds between different coffees.
