A blind basket (also called a blind filter) is a solid no-hole portafilter basket used for backflushing the group head on compatible espresso machines. Insert it in your portafilter, add espresso cleaner as directed by your machine maker, and run the backflush cycle.
Default size is 58mm. This listing is the solid basket only — it is not a perforated brewing / filter basket, and it does not include cleaning powder or tablets.
Some home machines are designed for a flat blind disc or blind disk instead of a basket. Check your machine manual before ordering. Sold separately from the portafilter, shower screen, and other prep tools.

Use & compatibility
Intended for 58mm portafilters that accept a blind basket for group-head backflush. Confirm your basket size before ordering. Some machines use a blind disc/disk instead of a basket — this SKU is the 58mm solid basket only. It is not a perforated brewing basket and will not extract espresso.
Care & cleaning
Rinse thoroughly after each backflush, wash with mild soap if needed, and dry before storage. Do not bend the rim. Replace if the floor warps or the rim no longer seats cleanly.
Let the grinder dry fully before packing. Stop if the handle jams; use the supplied manual for inspection and disassembly.
